It may sound like a small detail, but perception matters a lot these days. I kept asking myself, if someone is really doing well in his field, why is he still using an Android phone instead of an iPhone. Now my worry has shifted from just how good he is at his work to what could happen if I introduce him to my boss. Imagine if my boss sends him a huge payment for the project and he disappears with the money. It will not only stain my name but could even affect my own job. My friend keeps insisting that the guy is trustworthy but trust is very expensive, especially in a country where people vanish after collecting advance payment.
