I notice her watching me for a very long period of time - NoCV
Hello everyone, I really need some advice because I am so confused right now. I am a gardener, and I was recently hired by a client to take care of her small backyard garden. At first, it was a simple job, plant some flowers, trim the hedges, and keep the garden tidy. But over time, I noticed something strange. Every time I come to work, I see her standing quietly and watching me for a very long period of time, sometimes even taking pictures of me while I work. At first, I thought I was imagining things, but it has started to make me uncomfortable. I feel like I cannot focus properly, and I start second-guessing every move I make. I also tried mentioning it casually to her that I feel like she is watching me, but she just laughed and said she is curious to see how I work. I do not want to offend her or lose the job, but I also do not want to feel anxious every time I enter her garden. The strange thing is, she has become very chatty during the sessions and shares personal details that feel a little too personal for a client-service provider relationship. I keep wondering if I am overthinking or if this is really crossing a boundary. I enjoy my work, and I like making gardens beautiful, but this situation is starting to feel very very strange. I need advice on if I should continue to work quietly, hoping things will settle, or address it directly and set some boundaries. I want to stay professional, but I also want to feel safe and comfortable in my own workspace.
