Please Ladies, How Do You Handle Work During Ovulation? - NoCV
I honestly don’t even know if I’m overthinking this, but I just need to pour it out and get people’s opinions. During ovulation, is it advisable for a lady to go to work? Because what I feel in my body during that period is not normal. I am genuinely trying to keep myself pure for marriage, but every month, when that time comes, my body keeps desiring the opposite gender so badly that it becomes distracting. The challenge is that I work in an office filled mostly with men. Most of them are nice and professional, but I sometimes find myself reacting to little things like the way one of them smells or talks and I hate that I can’t control it. I start feeling uncomfortable, restless, and anxious, and I can’t even focus on my work properly. At times, I just take permission or call in sick, but I’m beginning to think my boss is getting suspicious because I can’t keep using “I’m not feeling well” every month. I’ve thought about explaining things to her since she’s a woman too, but I don’t know if that’s something appropriate to discuss in a workplace. Will she understand, or will she see it as unprofessional? Because honestly, I don’t want to lose my job or look unserious, but I also don’t want to fall into temptation. I’m trying my best, praying, fasting, and keeping busy but sometimes my body just seems to have a mind of its own. Ladies, how do you cope with this phase at work, especially when surrounded by male colleagues? And do you think it’s okay to discuss this kind of thing with a female boss? I really need honest advice. Thank you
