The Free Rides I Give Children - NoCV
I drive keke for a living in Minna, and sometimes when I see school children trekking, I stop and carry them for free. I never tell other keke drivers because they will laugh at me for wasting fuel. Sometimes, I even pretend the child paid, so no passenger notices. It makes me happy knowing at least one child reached school without sweating under the sun. Still, I wonder if I’m cheating myself and putting my finances at a great disadvantage. Do you think little acts of kindness are worth the hidden sacrifice?
