On Friday evening, I was chatting with my sister about my workplace frustrations. Out of anger, I typed the words “My boss is an old fool” with the intention of sending it to her and forwarding it to my best friend. I mistakenly forwarded it directly to my boss on WhatsApp. Immediately I noticed, I quickly deleted it, but It seems he already saw the message. Since then, he has not replied or said anything. Now I am completely confused. Should I still dress up and go to the office on Monday as if nothing happened, or should I stay at home and start looking for another job?
