Good day everyone, I need advice on something small but very uncomfortable. How do you politely decline a handshake from a senior colleague who is known for shaking everyone? The challenge is not the handshake itself, but the hygiene issues around it. Almost every time, I notice he uses the same hand he shakes people with, to dig gold from his nose or scratch his private area. On top of that, he frequently goes to the toilet, and when he comes out, the hand he stretches out to shake people is usually wet. I don’t want to be rude or disrespectful, especially because he is senior to me. How can I handle this without creating awkwardness at work?
